OUR PACKAGES

R. Y. Cyrus Memoirs offers you three comprehensive packages to choose. Each package includes an elegant presentation of audio recordings featuring your voice sharing highlights of your life story.
VIRTUAL INTERVIEWS
​
After choosing your package and making your initial installment payment, I will schedule an in-person one-on-one 'meet and greet' to review and sign your Ghostwriter Agreement. Following our initial interview, twelve 90-minute virtual interviews (one session twice a month) will commence over a course of six (6) months. During this time, I will assist you in collecting your memories and helping you choose images from your favorite photos. Feel free to invite a family member or close friend to join you for assistance and support, if needed. Virtual meetings such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom is my choice of interaction as either will allow you the ability to relax and share your story in the privacy of your home. I will patiently talk to you and walk with you down memory lane while listening for those special moments that will define the theme of your life story.

POLISHING YOUR BOOK

Everyone has a story to tell and I can't wait to help you share yours! Remember, your Memoir is all about you. You are free to include as much (or as little) as your memory will allow. Your Memoir is written to reflect your story - just the way you remember it. I will help you outline your story by asking you questions and giving you directions. Keep in mind however, that I will not be responsible for researching or fact-checking your information.
After each chapter of your Memoir is completed, you will have the opportunity to review it. When the final draft is complete, a professional proofreader and editor will review it - not only to make sure your book is free of mistakes, but to ensure that it accurately reflects your tone and unique personality in the telling of your story. When the final copy of your manuscript is complete, it will be submitted to a design and printing professional who will transform your life story into a beautiful heirloom book.

EARLY TERMINATION

I understand that life happens. Therefore, if you are not able to complete your Memoir book due to illness or an emergency, I will be happy to reschedule the remaining interviews until you are well enough to continue. On the other hand, if you choose not to complete your project for any reason, your contract can be cancelled. However, this must be done in writing and in accordance with the terms and conditions of our Agreement which I will thoroughly go over with you beforehand.

What Is A Ghostwriter?
A Ghostwriter is an experienced writer who is paid to create content for their clients. However, a Ghostwriter writes anonomously and does not receive credit for their work. A non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is signed which is a legally binding agreement that keeps their clients' work confidential and gives them full control over their books. This includes foregoing any royalties or commission payments if their clients choose to sell their books.
Commission A Ghostwriter
The cost of commissioning a professional ghostwriter for their services varies. Some charge per word, per hour or per project.
The charge per word can range anywhere from .30 to $2 per word. The charge per hour can range between $50 to $250. The charge per project can range between $25,000 to $100,000. To commission an experienced ghostwriter, one can expect to pay, on average, anywhere between $25,000 and $250,000. The cost of commissoning a ghostwriter should take into consideration the experience of the writer and the quality of the project.
Memoire vs Autobiography
A memoir is a subjective collection of theme-oriented narratives in which the author remembers certain experiences, emotions, and events that took place throughout their life. It is typically more focused than an autobiography as it describes a single theme of events rather than a whole lifetime.
An autobiography is a factual and historical account of the author's entire life covering events that took place from the beginning to the end of their life.
